    I’m coming home

number10.jpg (1 of 1)-401number10.jpg (1 of 1)-404Hey guys! A few days before going to New Zealand I found out that the place where I was supposed to move in after my trip was taken. It’s really hard to find a home in Australia, you have to go and view many apartments and there are so many other people viewing the apartments, so it’s really competitive. I stayed in Airbnb’s the whole time and moved every 2 weeks, I didn’t want to stay in another temporary place. Also I found out that in order to have the chance to continue school in 2 years I have to go home and fill an application. So I bought tickets home, but I bought flexible tickets meaning that I could’ve changed the tickets to another date within 12 months. So I still hadn’t actually decided what I’m going to do so I didn’t write about it here. I feel like I often write about what I’m gonna do and then I change my mind haha. But anyways I did decide to come home, I just arrived after a great tip. I literally had the best trip home.

At first there was the coolest guy in the check in desk, he let me choose all my seats and gave me an empty row on my first flight (I had 3 seats to myself!!) + an express track so I went through security like a boss haha. Then on that flight one of the flight attendants was so sweet to me, he constantly came to me asking how’s my favourite passenger doing and brought me snacks all the time haha. (he was not hitting on me, he was about 50 years old sweet grandpa style haha)

Then my next flight was in business class, so I went to the business lounge in Singapore airport. Loots of free foood! And 2 girls working there came to talk to me, I think we chatted for an hour and they were so sweet! Then it was time for my flight, I literally had a bed and I slept for 8 hours. Then when I woke up I still had 4 hours to go so I grabbed a lot of snacks and started watching movies 🙂 Then I catched a flight from Helsinki to Tallinn which lasted only 20 minutes, I saw a beautiful sunrise from the sky. Sunrise & sunset flights are theee best!

It feels weird being back, it’s weird to say that but I feel like this is not my place anymore. But I’ll try to enjoy my time here because I won’t be here for long anyways. know that Australia is only 2 days away so I can apply for a visa and go back anytime. My plan is to move there for a year or two in August, but I might go back earlier as well we’ll see 🙂

Time to go trough my emails now! Have a nice day everyone x

    The kids

number10.jpg (1 of 1)-395number10.jpg (1 of 1)-396number10.jpg (1 of 1)-400number10.jpg (1 of 1)-398I had such a nice day out with my family. My cousins are just so adorable, I’m going to miss them so so much. I’m so happy I came here, I felt like I had drifted apart a lot with the Italian part of my family but now it’s better than ever and it feels amazing. I feel full of love, I honestly do haha. They were all so lovely and it was everything I could’ve asked for. Pizza nights, dinners, roadtrips ♥

It was so hard to say goodbye to the kids, it was actually my first time being around kids and at first I didn’t even know how to talk to them haha. I have no other young siblings in my family. But after one week we were all so close to each other. I’ll definitely keep in touch and  I’ll try to visit them more often 🙂

    Daily life, Travel

    Falling in love with books

number10.jpg (1 of 1)-385number10.jpg (1 of 1)-387Do yourself a favour – go to the store and buy this book. It will completely change they way you think in a very positive way. I’m not even half way through the book and it has literally changed me. I used to hate books, this is probably the first time I’m reading after 5 years and now I just want to read more and more. There’s so much knowledge in books it’s crazy. Next books I want to read: Rich dad, Poor dad; The universe has your back; the secret; the personal MBA: master the art of business). I LOVE these kind of self-help motivational books, but I also want to read some business books 🙂 I never thought books would excite me but now I’m like a little child in a candy store when I go to a book store haha. I love it.

I’m having a very relaxed family time here, which feels so nice after three months of partying haha. It’s nice to experience traveling in different ways. I will post some photos I took yesterday soon! Time for lunch now my auntie is cooking in the kitchen and it smells delicious, talk to you later! x

    Trip to New Zealand

number10.jpg (1 of 1)-371 number10.jpg (1 of 1)-372I had a beautiful flight from Sydney to Wellington – the views were insane!number10.jpg (1 of 1)-376I was supposed to catch the ferry to Picton right after my flight (I also had a hotel booked for one night in Picton) but my flight was delayed so I missed the ferry and  didn’t make it to Pictonnumber10.jpg (1 of 1)-374I was sitting at the airport with 15 Australian dollars (my card expired so that was all I had) I was literally laughing at how fucked I was haha. I missed the last ferry of the day and flights to Nelson (where I needed to go) were $500. Luckily I have amazing friends, Mat organised his mom to pick me up from the airport, and I stayed with his family for one night.  Soo lovely people I had such a great time 🙂 I think that’s one of the coolest things about traveling – not everything goes as planned but that’s just a part of the adventurenumber10.jpg (1 of 1)-377We were having dinner and one of their friends came over. I asked them if I should take the dodgiest plane down to Nelson or catch the ferry. And randomly that guy was like “I’m driving to Nelson tomorrow you can jump on my truck”. So lucky haha!! number10.jpg (1 of 1)-379He was such a nice guy, we had some time to kill before the ferry so we grabbed some ice-creams and he showed me around a bit 🙂number10.jpg (1 of 1)-380He said that he is really thinking about coming to Estonia, he’s wife has always wanted to go to Finland and since the two countries are super close it would be perfect. I gave him lots of tips and we are still in touch via email. I really hope he will come and visit Estonia it would be so cool to show him around! He dropped me off in front of my place where my whole family was waiting for me on the balcony. I had such a nice trip to Nelson thanks to super kind people, I’ll never forget it 🙂

(The photos are taken on different days, flight photos are day 1 and then the ferry and driving to Nelson was the next day after staying with Mat’s fam)
